At the conclusion of this continuing education activity, the participant will be able to:
- Discuss the epidemiological considerations of monkeypox
- Discuss the transmission routes of monkeypox
- Describe the clinical manifestations often associated with monkeypox
- Identify optimal therapies used to treat monkeypox
- Identify patient populations who would benefit from monkeypox vaccines

Lance Azzo, PharmD, BCGP is a skillful pharmacist with several years of clinical pharmacy experience. He graduated in 2014 from Wayne State University with a PharmD degree. He has worked in managed care and specialty pharmacy throughout his pharmacy career, which has enabled him to gain a plethora of clinical knowledge on so many different therapeutic areas.
