Migraines: Can You cGRP the Difference? Webcast – 1 CE

Activity Overview

A migraine can cause severe, debilitating, and persistent pain that can last for hours or days. Although several therapeutics are available to stop migraine attacks after they are already underway and some drugs include migraine prevention among several approved indications, the newer class of CGRP-targeted drugs is the first to be specifically designed for the preventive treatment of migraine, marking a significant new era of migraine therapeutics. There are a number of cGRP migraine treatment agents currently on the market and it may be difficult for clinicians to distinguish between the agents and there is confusion on the differences between agents. This activity reviews all cGRP FDA approved treatments for migraines, highlights the differences between agents, and provides strategies for clinicians to overcome medication access barriers related to these agents.
