How To Engage Patients and Trainees Across Generational Gaps – 1 CE – Live Webinar on September 28, 2023 8PM ET

Activity Overview
There are currently 4-5 generations all working in the same healthcare setting. Moreover, all of these generations are also caring for all the other generations in the patient care domain. These generations have noted key differences in communication styles, values, and preferences. Understanding these differences can be helpful for optimizing communication in the teaching and patient care domain.
This activity discusses generational theory, its application to patient counseling and interaction, and reviews teaching techniques that bridge these gaps.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this continuing education activity, the participant will be able to:
- Discuss generational theory and its application in the healthcare setting
