Good Compounding Documentation Practices – 1 CE

Activity Overview

This activity is intended to educate pharmacy personnel on good compounding documentation practices that create high-quality compounding practices. This CE is a home-study monograph that intends to teach pharmacy personnel proper documentation practices as well as things to be done and things not to be done.

At the conclusion of this continuing education activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Identify the pharmacist’s role in creating and maintaining good documentation of formulation records
  2. Describe the pharmacist’s role in establishing and maintaining documentation policies and procedures
  3. Discuss the pharmacist’s role errors documentation procedures

Pharmacy Technician Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this continuing education activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Identify the pharmacy technician’s role in correct compounding components selection documentation
  2. Describe the pharmacy technician’s role in adhering to good compounding documentation practices
  3. Discuss the pharmacy technician’s role in differentiating the do’s and don’ts regarding documentations
