It’s popping up as a potential game-changer for treating mental health issues like depression and stress disorders. But let’s face it: many pharmacists and healthcare professionals are in the dark about how it actually works, the benefits and risks involved, and what the law says.

That’s where this course comes in. It’s designed to bring healthcare professionals up to speed on everything psilocybin, from its effects on the brain to its therapeutic uses and legal standing. By the end, participants will have the know-how to talk confidently with patients and healthcare teams, making sure psilocybin treatments are safe and effective for those who need them.

At the conclusion of this continuing education activity, the participant will be able to:

2. Identify the potential therapeutic applications of psilocybin for a variety of mental health conditions.
3. Explain the role of pharmacists in the safe and effective use of psilocybin.
