Canine and Feline Intraoral Radiology – 1CE

Activity Overview
Checking for the outer appearance of a cat or a dog can give you clues to what their oral problems are. However, not everything can be examined from the outside — you will also need radiographs. This course will walk you through all the basics of intraoral radiology so you can better help more cats and dogs.
This course is equivalent to one contact hour. It can be accessed through the convenience of a mobile device, laptop, or computer.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the course, the participant is expected to:
- Name the different stages of periodontal diseases.
- Identify the stages of tooth resorption.
- Name the parts of the teeth and the structures surrounding them based on radiographs.
- Identify the properties of feline squamous cell carcinoma.
- Name the qualities of the first premolars.
- Identify various forms of intraoral trauma.
