Beyond-Use Date Basics for Compounded Nonsterile Preparations: A Guide for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians – 1 CE – Live Webinar on November 16, 2023 8PM ET

Activity Overview

In the dynamic world of pharmacy practice, maintaining currency in professional knowledge and skills is a non-negotiable requirement. Specifically, understanding the intricacies of assigning appropriate beyond-use dates to compounded nonsterile preparations is paramount to ensuring patient safety and product quality. It is a crucial safeguard against potential contamination or degradation, and demands an in-depth understanding of product stability and the myriad factors that influence it.

This course aims to equip compounding personnel with a comprehensive understanding of these standards, thereby enhancing their competence and confidence in assigning beyond-use dates accurately.
