AchieveCE is proud to announce the launch of three (3) new series under its CE On-The-Go program for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Beginning September 1, 2021, AchieveCE is set to release a live weekly webinar titled Pharmacy News and Views, a weekly quick-read monograph series called The Weekly Dose, and a monthly update on the latest drug information called Monthly Drug Brief.
AchieveCE’s CEs On-The-Go, bite-sized 0.25 to 0.5 credit hour ACPE-accredited courses, are designed to fill a pharmacy professional’s downtime with lessons they can use for their continuing education. With the three new series under the CE On-The-Go program, pharmacy professionals are provided with continuing education materials that they can easily learn and apply. These short CE activities can also earn them up to 29 credit hours every year.
“These CE On-The-Go offerings will create a unique experience for healthcare professionals to receive specialized education in this fast-paced world,” says Joshua Chesner, Chief Marketing Officer of AchieveCE and an expert in the continuing pharmacy education arena. “Our desire to introduce this type of offering to a live environment will create a unique experience for those with busy schedules, allowing participants to better balance their work, home, and educational lives.”
Pharmacy News and Views
Pete Kreckel, RPh, renowned community pharmacist and AchieveCE’s new ACPE administrator, will host a 15-minute live webinar every Wednesday starting September 1, 2021. These live webinars will focus on the latest news and trends in pharmacy that can impact patient care. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians can also have a go-to expert they can turn to, as these live webinars will include quick question and answer sessions that will allow interactions between participants and AchieveCE’s in-house pharmacy expert.
Archived sessions of Kreckel’s Pharmacy News and Views are also available as home study webcasts for pharmacy professionals in case they miss the live sessions every Wednesday. These home study webcasts are available every Thursday.
The Weekly Dose
The Weekly Dose are home study monographs that cover common health conditions and general treatment guidelines in 15 minutes or less. Released every Wednesday, these quick-read monographs provide pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with the necessary overview of common diseases and health conditions and relevant updates regarding their treatment protocol.
The Weekly Dose aims to be a booster shot of information for pharmacy professionals that can earn them 13 credit hours a year.
Monthly Drug Brief
AchieveCE also wants to provide pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with an update on the latest information released by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). While these updates are generally lengthy, AchieveCE aims to provide a condensed recap of FDA drug and device updates through the Monthly Drug Brief.
The Monthly Drug Brief reviews the latest approvals, withdrawals, recalls, and warnings issued by the FDA and presents it in an easy-to-read summary that any pharmacy professional can read in 15-30 minutes. This CE On-The-Go comes out every fifth of the month.
Asked about AchieveCE’s new ventures into continuing pharmacy education, Luke Porter, Chief Executive Officer of AchieveCE, said, “AchieveCE believes in making continuing pharmacy education meaningful again through developing innovative, relevant, and genuinely useful education that improves professional practice and patient outcomes.”
AchieveCE has been granted an initial two-year accreditation term by ACPE last January 31, 2021.
AchieveCE is an online CE provider for licensed professionals that aim to deliver enjoyable, convenient, and high-quality continuing education courses. Aside from its nationwide ACPE accreditation, AchieveCE is also a Florida Board of Pharmacy Approved provider (#50-20641).
